1. General Provisions

This Privacy Policy explains what information the mobile application Legit Check AI (the "App") collects, who receives it, and how it is protected.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Content you submit for a check

When you run an authenticity check, the App sends:

• the photos of the item you choose (the item itself, labels, tags, logos, serial numbers and other details);
• the category, brand and model you enter;
• the purchase source and price, if you enter them.

When you use the chat about a check, the App also sends your messages, any photos you attach, and a few photos from that check so the assistant can see the item.

We ask first. Before anything is sent for analysis, the App shows a consent screen that names OpenAI as the provider. Nothing is sent until you agree. You can withdraw your consent at any time in the App menu, under "Send to OpenAI"; after that the App stops sending new checks and chat messages. Withdrawal applies to future requests and cannot recall requests already sent.

2.2 Survey answers

The App may once ask you to answer a few short questions about how you use it (for example, where your photos came from and what matters most to you in a check). The survey is optional: you can decline it, skip any question and close it at any time, and nothing in the App changes if you do.

Your answers, including the optional free-text field, are sent to our analytics provider (section 4.3) together with the anonymous app identifier. Please do not include personal details in the free-text field. We do not ask you to rate the App in the survey.

2.3 Technical information

• Device type, operating system and app version.
• An anonymous app identifier (your in-app profile ID from Adapty, or a device vendor identifier if the profile is not ready yet). It is used to apply daily limits and to prevent abuse.
